This guide primarily applies to the Home, Kids Home, and Cosmetics categories, where products are typically separated by article or style number. This logic does not apply to apparel, which is handled differently.
Types of Variant Sets
There are three types of variant sets. You’ll find the correct upload template attached at the end of this guide.
1. Size
Used when the product varies only by size – e.g. four perfumes in different volumes.
In this case, create a Size Variant Set and fill in the WSStørrelse field only.
2. Colour
Used when the product varies only by colour – e.g. a lipstick available in multiple shades.
Here, you’ll create a Colour Variant Set and fill in the WSFarve field only.
3. Size and Colour
Used when the product varies by both size and colour – e.g. an item available in two sizes and two colours.
In this case, create a Size/Colour Variant Set, and fill in both WSStørrelse and WSFarve.
How to Fill in the File
You’ll find an attached template with the correct structure and column headers.
Example of how to complete the file:
Barcode
Enter the barcode for each product variant. Make sure to include all relevant barcodes.WSStørrelse
Enter the product’s size. Important: Whatever you write here will appear directly on the site, so double-check for correct spelling and formatting. If not relevant, leave the field blank.WSFarve
Enter the product’s colour. Note: The exact text will appear online – make sure it’s accurate and correctly written. Leave blank if not relevant.Variant Set
Enter either the product name or a custom key (max. 20 characters).
This value must be exactly identical across all variants to be grouped.
Examples: Perfume, Placemat, Lipstick.
These will then appear grouped as one product set on the site.
Upload Instructions & Format Requirements
Once the file is completed:
Upload it via the same channel you use for product/pricat submissions.
Do not delete or modify column headers.
The file name must start with "MOOS" – this is required for the system to process it.
Save the file in CSV format with semicolon (;) separator.
