A delivery advice is an electronic packing list that has two purposes:
1) To inform Magasin of an upcoming delivery, which is why the advice file should be uploaded before the
shipment of the physical product leaves your warehouse. The CSV file is sent to advis@magasin.dk or through a FTP server. The file must be successfully uploaded into Magasin’s system prior to the arrival of goods at Magasin.
2) A delivery notification creates the possibility for an automatic goods receipt, which is why the
notification must match the physical delivery 100%. Please remember that the reference 'delivery note
number' in the CSV file must be identical to the physical delivery note and 'packing list no.' and must be
unique for each delivery. One file per order/delivery must be made, so that this information can be linked
together at the goods receipt – and later, the delivery’s invoice, where the reference from column A in the
delivery notification, must also be stated.
The following information must be included in a delivery notification and be pasted into an Excel
document in the specified order:
Column A: Delivery note number
• Unique – may only be used once
• The partner’s own number which also appears on the physical delivery note number
Column B: Purchase order number
• Enter the 9-digit purchase order number from Magasin. In case you have not received an order use "Magasin" as the purchase number.
Column C: Barcode
Column D: Delivered quantity
• The quantity must match the physical delivery 100%, and the same quantity as the physical delivery note states.
Column E: Store location (ID)
Save as CSV:
File -> Save as -> Change file type to CSV (semicolon delimited) -> Save
The delivery notification (electronic packing list), which has been created as described above, will be sent
in the following manner when the order/items are shipped from your warehouse:
• CSV files must be attached to an email to advis@magasin.dk and not be opened before sending or uploaded through your FTP server.
• The files will then be uploaded automatically in Magasin’s system, one per hour. The system will send
the sender an email for confirmation or an error message.
REMEMBER - We use the delivery note number (DESADV in the picture above) for receiving goods, so the more visible this is, the faster the goods get through our goods reception.
